We would like to describe one of our latest projects that may revolutionize the approach to self-control and health. Here comes the Molecular application – to support the analysis of the risk of developing skin melanoma. In this solution, we used a 3D human model that can be rotated, zoomed, and marked on moles that exist on the user’s body.

After marking the place on the model, the user takes a photo of the mole to see changes over time or to perform an analysis for the probability of skin melanoma. This is due to the implementation of artificial intelligence on our backend, using several image analysis algorithms to calculate the probability of a neoplastic change within the mole picture sent.

The user can analyze the history of the mole’s changes by himself using a standard gallery, or he can use the gallery embedded in augmented reality for easy comparison with the real state of the mole.

The application can not replace a professional medical analysis, but supports the control of the condition of our mole and advises us to visit a specialist when it finds the risk of a neoplastic lesion within the nevus. It also notifies the user about using creams with a UV filter by analyzing the weather condition in the area and the user’s skin tone defined in the settings.

Another part of the platform is a similar application for medical specialists. This application helps to control patients, make an appointment, or finally – advanced photo analysis with the use of specialized AR glasses – for viewing a 3D model with moles and analysis in augmented reality.
